Tore out in Tulsa
2005-10-28

It wasn’t Tore Torgersens day at PBA Tulsa Championship. He was in the final field for 13 games but failed to defend his 27th position in the last game. A lousy score of 150 made him fall down to the 38th place and out from the Tournament.

- I was unlucky to get the lane 1 – 2 in the last game. The condition was of an non-excisting-oil type. I could hardly keep my ball from the gutter. 10 frames with only one strike was a disaster, said Tore after the first and last round for him.

He said before the Tournament that he is better prepared this season regarding to the last one. And now have to prove that it’s true next week when the Danny´s PBA-Tour move to Colorado and Lakewood for Mile High Classic.

The other Scandinavian, Mika Koivuniemi, had a better day at work. With an avg. of 224 he ended up in pos. 18 and now will face Mike Wolfe in the first match, best out of 7 games.

Outstanding in the first round was Parker Bohn III. In his efforts to get title no. 31 he scored 3456 (avg. 246) for the pole position 146 points ahead for Mike Scroggins.
